He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Roger Ewoldt. He is survived by: his parents, Bruce Rhutasel and Sharon Rhutasel (Smith) of Oregon, WI; his wife Laura Rowe-Mathwig; his children, John Rhutasel (Summer Koerner) of Altoona, Dawson Mathwig of Menomonie, Kathryn Rhutasel (Nolan Lostocco) of Woodbury, MN and Sydney Mathwig (Adrien Head) of Chippewa Falls; his siblings, Neal Rhutasel of Waukesha and Bobbett Shaub (Jeff) of Stoughton; and his parents-in-law, Rosemary Ewoldt of Marshfield and Dick Rowe (Jeanne) of Bloomer. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at 19990 Co Hwy X, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.
