It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ashley of Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 2, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Melby and Thelma Melby; her husband Bud; her stepparents, Herbert Carter and Hazel Melby; her children, Linda Robertson and Newman Ashley; and her siblings, Phillip Melby Jr., Donna Ahrens and Glen Melby.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan Bruley of Chippewa Falls; her grandchildren, Heather Mosher (Nolan) of Chippewa Falls, Jordan Bruley of Cottage Grove, MN and Chad Bruley (Caryn) of Chetek; her great grandchildren, Taylor Ashley Mosher, Mason James Mosher and Lauren Waldrop; her brother Gary Melby (Cathy); and her son-in-law Bob Robertson.
