She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson (Schwantes); her husband Hughes; her sisters, Daisy and Doris; her sons-in-law, Fred White and John Nicholson; and her granddaughter Desiree Trebesch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Harberts of Chippewa Falls, Shari Raleigh (Jim) of Chippewa Falls, Ava McCausland of St. Paul, MN and Sue Svejcar (Scott) of Hudson; her grandchildren, Rick Zimbelman (Lisa), Melissa Turbett (Tim), Josh White (Brenda Carpenter), Francesca Yvonne, Eli McCausland (Jill), Sarah Clinton-McCausland, Daniel Clinton-McCausland, Adam Nicholson (Melissa) and Jamie Terich (Travis); and her grandson-in-law Mike Trebesch. She is also survived by many step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
