He is survived by: his wife Barbara (Dragger); his children, Timmy Shafer (Misty O'Neail) of Eau Claire, Rodney Shafer (Kayla) of Altoona and Lisa Noetzelmann (Frankie Thurmond) of Mondovi; and his siblings, Earl Shafer (Carol) of Everett, WA, Rex Shafer of Paris, TN, Linda Crosby of Chippewa Falls, Vivian Shafer of Chippewa Falls and Ronda Rosenthal (Jeff) of Lakeville, MN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
