He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert J. Swoboda and Margaret Swoboda (Spaeth); and his siblings, Bernard Swoboda, Marvin Swoboda and Donna Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Lynette; his daughter Kathy Kirkham (David) of Chippewa Falls; his stepsons, Jeffrey Brookshaw of Cornell, Scott Brookshaw (Camille) of Murietta, CA, Mark Brookshaw (Vicky) of Eau Claire and Chris Brookshaw (Garlynn) of Sparta; and his sister Bernadine Schock of Wasilla, Alaska. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
