He is survived by: his son Jim Thurwachter; his granddaughter Shelby Thurwachter of Chilton; and his siblings, Susan Morgen (Robert) of New Holstein, Barbara Piencikowski (John) of Oshkosh, Stephen Thurwachter (Marcy) of Prarie du Sac, Thomas Thurwachter (Collie) of Brillion, Mary Thurwachter Green (Alex) and Amy Howe (William) of Boulder, CO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
