He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Spletter and Esther Spletter (Hintz); his former wife Madeline Best; his daughter Donna Bernard (Larry); his parents-in-law, Carl and Renate Best; his wife Carol; his grandson Paul Meyer; his great grandchildren, Brandon Paulson and Kade Meyer; his siblings, Marion Bowe (Robert), Doris Powell (Bob), Margie Rozman (Jim), Betty Jane Spletter, Barbara Forstner (Ron), Paul and Elroy Spletter (Esther); and his brother-in-law Darle Blade.
He is survived by: his children, Marsha Lisowe (Jim), Paula Feldner (David), Kathy Meyer (Larry) and Tom Spletter (Lori); his siblings, Lee Spletter (Cheri), Shirley Blade and Sandra Cunningham (Ed); and his sister-in-law Mary Jo Spletter. He is also survived by his children; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
