He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Nikolai and Caroline Nikolai (Wenzel); his siblings, Carrie Hardinger (Jim), Eleanor Nikolai, Frankie and Ted Nikolai; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Evadene Menke; his siblings-in-law, Jim Wittenkeller, Sharon Menke and Ruth Nikolai; his nephews, Bob Bruns and Uriel Nikolai; and his niece Shelly Nikolai.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Ann Menke of Andrew's Catholic Church; his daughter Michelle Keller (John); his grandson Nate Keller; his siblings, Rose Marie Wittenkeller, Eugene Nikolai (Becky), Victor Nikolai, Leonard Nikolai (Diane), Germaine Nikolai and Mary Lou Hafenbredl (Don); and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Nikolai, Teri Nikolai and Louie Menke. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be designated to the American Heart Association.
