He was predeceased by: his parents, William Salzwedel and Rose Salzwedel (Meyers); his son Roger; his mother-in-law Ramona Kiddoo; his siblings, William, Harold, Ray, Gorden, Ruth, Eda and Lila; his son-in-law James Scheel; and his grandchildren, Nicole, Jamie and Troy.
He is survived by: his wife Velda (Kiddoo); and his children, Linda Scheel, Sandy Ellis (Dave), Debbie Rosandich, Larry (Jackie), Susan Ludwig (Jeff), Jalaine Specht (Steve), Robin Zinthefer (Duane), William (Jenny) and Jeffrey (Melissa). He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren, and 10 step-grandchildren.
