Rick Hepfler Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rick Hepfler of Chetek, Wisconsin, born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 8, 2022 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Hepfler and Ardell Hepfler (Ehlers); his parents-in-law, Francis Leis and Joan Leis; his nephew John E. Hepfler III; his siblings-in-law, Mary Flamang (Leis) and Tim Leis; and his nephew Kevin Young.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Leis; his son Eric Hepfler of Chetek; his brother John E. Hepfler (Jeane) of Chippewa Falls; his siblings-in-law, Cathy Bass (Mike) of Box Elder, SD, Beth Bauer (John) of Durand, Carrie Leis of Chippewa Falls, Dan Leis (Kay) of Chippewa Falls and Joel Leis of Chippewa Falls; his nieces and nephews, Michael Hepfler (Molli Davey), Krista Powers (Daniel), Jessica Hatzinger (Nick), Elizabeth Kuchenbecker (Kyle), Matthew Leis (Margie), Jacob, Travis, Janessa Bauer, Desiree Gavin, Dakota Leis, Nicole Flamang-Moyer (Anthony), Brian, Jarrett, Jeffrey Flamang, Brandon and Garrett Klemish; and his close friends, Terry, Sally Young, Peggy Young, Patrick, Aimee Mikl-Young, Jessica Young (Jim Walker), Annette Vanlandingham (Brent), Ryon Young and Jack Young.
In lieu of flowers (No house plants please, in our household Rick was the only one that could keep them alive) memorials would be appreciated in support of The Tim Leis Family Youth Endowment Fund or the Owen Knutson Memorial Fund.
