She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome T. Taube and Inez Taube (Cory); her husband Ron; and her son Ronald J. Ekern II. She is survived by: her son Cory G. Ekern; and her siblings-in-law, Philip Ekern (Ann), Ann Willson (Tom), Gainesville and Leslye Fesler (Steve).
