He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Gardner (Davis) and Charlie Gardner; his grandson Matt Zajic; and his siblings, Leta Walsh, Norval, Clifford and Gale Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Kathy Jacobs (Joe) of Barron, WI, Jack Gardner (Donna) of Chetek, WI and Lori Spence (Holt) of Hastings, MN; his grandchildren, Heather Martino (Danny), Krystal Johnson and Ryan Zajic; and his sisters, Janell Severson, Charlotte Coleman and Cheryl Treinen (Dan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
