It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Pingel (Chetek, Wisconsin), born in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 11, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Orville Pingel and Loretta Pingel (Riley); his wife Janet of New Auburn; his child Sarah Groskreutz (Brian); his grandchildren, Carolynn, Ethan of Truman, Stephanie Adrihan (Mike), Ezri, Alizee of West Allis, Shawn Pingel of West Allis, Shannon Pingel of Glendale and Shelly Christianson (Colt) of Chetek; and his siblings, Janet Allison (Clyde), James Pingel (Margie) and Joe Pingel (Terriese). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
