It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Mares of Chetek, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 28, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Novak and Lillian Novak (Gulan); her siblings, Edward Novak and Virginia Jaskowiak; and her son-in-law Bradley Erickson.
She is survived by: her husband Dr. Stanley E. Mares of Chetek, WI; her children, Alan Mares (Gayle) of Arlington Heights, IL, Cindy Rowe (Neal) of Terre Haute, IN, Julie Wambolt (Larry) of Denver, CO and Tina Erickson of Dekalb, IL; her grandchildren, Lance White (Aubrey), Carolyn Rowe, Patrick Rowe, Cody Wambolt, Brooklyn Wambolt, Natalie Mares and Allyson Mares; and her brother Dan Novak (Diane). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
