She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Rubenzer and Elizabeth Rubenzer (Swoboda); her former husband Harold Poirier; her siblings, Dick, Jake, Lester, Harry, Irene Schneider, Edna Siverling, Sister Lucy, Marcie Pope, Mabel LaGesse, Betty Bennesch and Marie Clark; and her granddaughter Katie Poirier.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Poirier (Pam), John Poirier (Cheryl), Sue Figas (Fred), Brenda Traynor (Dan) and Julie King (Jim); her sister Jeanette Schilling; her sisters-in-law, Mary Poirier, Kathryn Poirier, Roberta Poirier and Marilyn Rubenzer; and her husband Chetek. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Chetek Lutheran Church (1419 2nd St, Chetek, WI 54728). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
