She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Rumsey and Hilda Rumsey (Myhre); her husband Harley Ostrem; and her brother Larry. She is survived by: her sons, Steven (Laura) of Montezuma and Mark (Lynn) of Chaseburg; her grandson Michael; her great grandchild Zaidyn of Chaseburg; her grandchildren, Robert of Minneapolis, MN, Elizabeth of Fairfield and Benjamin of Red Wing, MN; her siblings, Mary Burke (Ed) of Westby and Arvid Rumsey (Betty) of La Crosse; and her siblings-in-law, Gene Ostrem (Mary), Betty Elson and Judy Warner. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
