We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2023, at the age of 91, Caroline S. Bakkestuen (Chaseburg, Wisconsin), born in Viroqua, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joel Lindahl and Salomea Lindahl (Stoehr); her husband Marvin Bakkestuen; and her brother Selmer. She is survived by: her children, Cherlyn Johnson (Bryce) and David Bakkestuen (Jennifer Wuolle) of Viroqua; her grandchildren, Adam Bakkestuen (Beverly) of Westby, Caleb Johnson (Lindsay) of Bellville, WI, Caitlyn Johnson of Austin, TX, Ryan Bakkestuen of Westby and Brittany Wilson (Corey) of Peoria, AZ; and her brother Adolph Lindahl (Gloria) of La Crosse. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research or a charity of choice.
