Glen C. Holecek Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Glen C. Holecek of Centuria, Wisconsin, born in Garner, Iowa, who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Holecek and Marie Holecek; his sister Phyllis Holecek (Nedved); and his great grandchild Dottie Stensrud. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Smidt; his children, Deb Arneson (Mike), Steve Holecek (Denise), Lori Tyler (John) and Randy Holecek (Nancy); his brother Clyde Holoecek (Connie); his grandchildren, Jamie, Derek, Jeremy and Kensya; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Adam, Austin, Scout, Steelin, Collin and Vinney.
The military honors was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery (N4063 Veterans Way, Spooner, WI 54801). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Apple River Community Church (942 U. S. Hwy 8, Amery, Wisconsin 54001). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
