He is survived by: his children, Columbia Heights, Michael Herbst, Michelle Benson (David), Violet Larson (Craig), Theresa Tihanyi (Andy) and Vanessa Herbst (George Larson); his grandchildren, Christopher, Michael, Stephanie, Richard (Elizabeth), Melissa, Derek, Tara (John) and Dalton; his great grandchildren, William, Ethan, Scarlett and Katalaya-Mae; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Kraus (Jerry) and Gerald Peterson (Sharon). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
