With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas J. Zappa of Centuria, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 14, 2024 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Douglas has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his brother George Zappa. He is survived by: his parents, Clarence Zappa and Mary Ann Zappa of Frederic, WI; his wife LaRae of Centuria; his daughters, Britani Berget (Marcus) of New Richmond, WI and Mindi Spofford (Andrew) of Balsam Lake, WI; his grandchildren, Izabelle Berget, McKenna and Preston Spofford; and his siblings, Joel Zappa (Missy) of Almena, WI, Jerome Zappa of Frederic, WI and Rebecca Zappa (Bobby). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kolstad Family Funeral Home (301 4th St, Centuria, WI 54824). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
