He is survived by: his children, Mandee Scherping (Kristopher) of Stacy, MN and Joshua Checkalski (Hanni) of Forest Lake, MN; his grandchildren, Kali, Eli, Kaden, Amelia and Karter; his siblings, Dennis Checkalski of South Range, WI, Duane Checkalski (Liz) of Weyerhaeuser, Dan Checkalski (Mel) of Weyerhaeuser, Jim Checkalski (Sandy) of Bloomer, WI, Jeff Checkalski (Vicki) of Andover, MN, Joan McDonald (Mack) of Prior Lake, MN and Joel (BJ) of Weyerhaeuser; and his former wife Diann Checkalski (Manke).
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at W14414 W Railway Ave, Weyerhaeuser, WI 54895.
