She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Himstedt and Frieda Himstedt; her husband Wally; her siblings, Howard Himstedt (Mary), Grace Scholz (Wally), Sylvia Gerner and Ardell Townsend (Lee); and her sister-in-law Joyce Jeziorski (Chester).

She is survived by: her former husband Wallace Schallock; her son Gary (Barbara); her grandchildren, Gary Jr. (Katie) and Carmen; her great grandchildren, Charlie and Aubrey; and her brother-in-law Merlin Gerner. She is also survived by niece Darlene July, other relatives and friends.
