He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Rathke and Ruth Rathke; and his wife Shon Apfel. He is survived by: his wife's children, Kristen, Erin and Michael; his close friend Barbara Beckmann; his sister Betty Rathke; his children, Kristen Caldwell (Jim), Erin Curless (Jared) and Michael Rathke (Francesca); and his grandchildren, Abigail, Isabelle, Audrey Caldwell, Carter, Lauren Hare, Evie, Asher, Jacob Curless and Zooey Rathke.
In lieu of flowers, plant a tree in Ron's memory would be appreciated.
