He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Brandt and Eleanor Brandt (Nee Kuells); his wife Marian Koepsell; his daughter Doreen Kay; his siblings, Wilmer Brandt (Joanne), Allen Brandt and Lorraine Pluedeman (Russel); his parents-in-law, Gotthold Koepsell and Verona Dummer (Koepsell); his stepfather-in-law Harvey Dummer; his siblings-in-law, Arlene Ohland (Marvin), Earl Hahn, Leland Gunst, Edna Schultz, Marlis Glamann, Claude Rex, Duane Dummer and Sharon Dummer; his nephew Frank Schultz; and his nieces, Jean Kelley and Anola Ketelhohn.
He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Ehmke (Brian) of Hartford, Dean Brandt (Michelle) of Cedarburg and Brian Brandt (Julie) of Cedarburg; his grandchildren, Brandon Ehmke (Shannon) and Annette Nerby (Austin); his children, Kyle, Justin, Allison Ehmke, Brianna, Mallory, Andrew Brandt, Nora and Katie Brandt; his great grandchild Alexis Nerby; his grandchildren, Parker and Marian Ehmke; his stepgreat-grandchild Braylen LeClair; and his siblings-in-law, Hildegarde Brandt, Lorraine Hahn, Elaine Gunst Rex, Robert Schultz (Step), Gary Dummer (Step), Connie Thull (Mike) and Carol Dummer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
