He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Joseph Immekus Sr. and Augusta Anna Waldvogel; his wife Dora Estela; his brothers, John Anthony and Melvin Joseph Jr.; and his sister-in-law Julane Immekus-Dorn.

He is survived by: his children, Mary Immekus (Brian Hosking) of Madison, Paul of Milwaukee, William "Bill" of Fox Point and Michael of Milwaukee; and his grandsons, Spencer and Aaron Hosking of Madison. He is also survived by sister-in laws and many nieces and nephews.
