It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Allen Peterson (Cedarburg, Wisconsin), born in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Peterson and Mabel Peterson; his son Scott Peterson (Cheryl); his granddaughters, Serafia and Alexandra; his brother David Peterson (Mary); his brother-in-law Donald Hein (Gayle); and his wife Ruth Peterson. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials go to the Humane Animal Welfare Society.
