She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Dorney and Abigail Dorney; her husband Frank Shewczyk; her sons, Tom Shewczyk (Chris) and Mark Shewczyk (Jae); her grandchildren, Kaarin Gust (Michael), John Harrison (Hilde), Nadya Shewczyk, Alexandra Shewczyk (James Van Essen), Larissa Hoy (Andrew), Anna Mertes (Aaron), Rhiannon Shewczyk and Braydon Shewczyk; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Alyssa, Annika, Christina, Jenna, Mikail, Anya, Eden and Oliver.
