With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise C. Schmeling of Cedarburg, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 4, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Plum and Mary Plum; her daughter Peggy Schmeling; her children-in-law, Kris Schmeling and Bill Johnson; her brother Paul Plum; and her brother-in-law Bob Schmeling.
She is survived by: her husband James A. Schmeling of Milwaukee; her children, Chuck (Jenny) of Theresa, Patricia Jaffke (Dave) of Grafton, Sharon Schmeling Kates (James) of Jefferson and Eric of Grafton; her grandson Andy; her children, Ben, Patryck, Tess, Maggie, Lucy and Lukas; her siblings, Helen Plum, Henry Plum (Charmian Klyve) and Lucy Paczkowski (Dale); her sisters-in-law, Joan Plum, Ruth Kressel and Patti Schmeling; and her friends, Kathie Yezek and Joanna Braat. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Francis Borgia Catholic School, 1425 Covered Bridge Road, Cedarburg, 53012.
