She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Phillips and Katherine Phillips; and her husband Otto Gierach. She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Puente (Robert) and Keith Gierach (Cynthia); her grandchildren, David Gierach (Angela), Heather Puente (Pat), Nicholas Gierach (Whitney) and Brittany Orlovsky (Ryan); and her sister Winifred Pelkey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
