She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo King and Emma King (Lewis); her husband Howard B. Schmidt; her son Howard "Butch" Schmidt, Jr.; and her grandson Steven Schmidt.
She is survived by: her daughter Susie DeWinter (Bob) of San Diego; her daughter-in-law Janet Schmidt of Grafton; her grandchildren, Mark Schmidt (Amy), BJ Schmidt (Chrissie), Sean DeWinter (Liz), Dustin De Winter (Katy) and Wesley DeWinter; and her great grandchildren, Holden, Nina, Rosa Schmidt, Mayan, Seylia Schmidt and Peyton DeWinter.
