He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Strey and Louise Strey of Milwaukee; and his siblings, Wallen (late Sadie), DeLloyd (Elaine), Mercedine Grosser (late Ralph), Ruth Mueller (late Robert) and Daun Joan Voit (late Richard).
He is survived by: his daughter Connie; his wife Rayola; his siblings, Dyvon Hilgendorf (late Wilmer) and Frederick (late Kathy); his son-in-law Cody Strook; his son Rev. Johnold J.; his daughter-in-law Emily Strey; and his grandchildren, Samantha Strook, Lydia, Julia, Kurt and Claire Strey. He is also survived by many other relatives and other friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Redeemer Lutheran Church in Cedarburg, or Kettle Moraine Lutheran High School in Jackson.
