He is survived by: his children, Jim Schaefer (Kelly) of Springfield, IL, Scott Schaefer (Linda) of Hartford, Tom Schaefer (Kim) of Greenfield, WI and Sandy Smallish of La Crosse, WI; and his brother Donald Schaefer of Centralia, WA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
