He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Proefrock and Dora Proefrock (Paske); his wife Darlene Roeglin; his brothers, Donald and Harvey Proefrock; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly, Jeannie Proefrock, Margaret Roeglin, Victor Lentz, Eugene Flitsch and Wayne Roeglin.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Richter (Michael), Steven Proefrock (Terry), Russell Proefrock (Kitt) and Julie Thorn (Gregory); his siblings, Eugene Proefrock and Carol Lentz; and his sisters-in-law, Carol Flitsch and Mitzi Proefrock. He is also survived by 18 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren & 3 Great-Great Grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and many life-long friends.
