He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Farris and Sylvia Farris (Cotey); his wife Ellen; and his brothers, Lee Farris and Don Farris (Lorraine).
He is survived by: his children, Wis, Jill Schowalter (Joel), Diane Kreutzer (Jeff), Julie Farris (Mike Zwieg) and Jeff Farris; and his grandchildren, Mitchell Schowalter, Kristen Schowalter, Sarah Tompkins and Cassie Tompkins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in David's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
