He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Steele and Vera Steele. He is survived by: his wife Gail Jordan; his daughters, Tanya Gerbing (Pastor Timothy) and Toni Rae Hofhine (David); his stepchildren, Scott Jordan and Laurie Bartsch (Peter); his grandchildren, Bobby Gerbing (Bethany), Meghan Mapson (Tyler), Hannah Burke (Jacob), Olivia Gerbing, Caleb Gerbing, Eliana Steele, Isabel Steele, Michael Steele and Gabriel Steele; his great grandchild Henry Mapson; his brother Gary Steele; and also Timothy Steele (Alexis). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Paul Lutheran Church.
