She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Piepmeyer and Emma Piepmeyer (Luedtke); her husband Robert Akerlund; her son Jeffrey; and her siblings, LaVerne, Edward H. and Eugene.
She is survived by: her sister Judith Berger (Roger) of Beaver Creek, OH; her children, Scott Akerlund (Patty) of Grafton, WI and Susan Watts (Jeff); her grandchildren, Beth Jagodinsky (Joel) of Cedarburg, WI, Laura Kruesel (Peter), Kari Watts VanHeukelom (Seth) and Kyle Watts; and her great grandchildren, Elijah Jagodinsky, Corinne and Noah VanHeukelom. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
