He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Mentink and Vera Mentink (Van Duren); his wife Ruth Neerhof; his daughter Lynn Johnson; his parents-in-law, Derwin and Mabel Neerhof; his brothers, Paul Mentink, David Mentink (Connie) and Tom Mentink; and his brother-in-law Derwin Neerhof (Mary).
He is survived by: his sons, Tedd Mentink (Terri) of Oostburg and Tim Mentink (Rosemary) of Cedar Grove; his son-in-law David Johnson; his grandchildren, Krystle Mills (Luke), Karrie Kaat (Luke), Derek Johnson, Alexandra and Alyssa Mentink; his great grandchildren, Ellodie, Blayke, Bowen Mills, Kayden, Kolten, Paxton and Paisley Kaat; and his sister Margaret Sholta (Tom). He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
