He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Chester Hyink and Agnes Hyink; his brothers, Owen Meinen and Robert Meinen (Lenore); and his siblings-in-law, Iris Rauwerdink (Donald), Eugene Kappers, Gordy Dana, Irv Judson and Andrew Riemersma.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Meinen of Cedar Grove; his children, Susan Mulder of Kalamazoo, MI, Gil Meinen (Julie) and Ward Meinen (Debbie); his grandchildren, Bret Meinen (Heidi), Katie Lubbert (Michael), Chad Mulder (Megan), Molly Schuelke (Drew), Jessica Buehler (Marcus), Courtney Mulder and Erika Meinen; his great grandchildren, Brianna Meinen, Connor Meinen, Greysen Lubbert, Everett Schuelke and Myla Jay Mulder; his siblings, Ruth Kruis, Vera Lammers (Ray) and Wayne Meinen (Muriel); and his sisters-in-law, Delores Meinen, Delores Kappers, Charlene Dana, LaFayne Judson and Rodell Riemersma. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
