William W. Delzer Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 24, 2025, at the age of 88, William W. Delzer Jr. of Cecil, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Delzer and Elsie Delzer (Wendt); his siblings, Otis, Robert, Kenneth and Helen (Black); and his grandson Grant Delzer.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Genke of John's Lutheran Church; his children, Gerri Friedman (Gary), Brent Delzer (Amy), Jay Delzer (Amy Myrick), Jill Wentworth (Tim) and Joel Delzer (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ryan Friedman (Jenny), Stefanie Wendt (Matt), Heidi Smaney (Andrew), Emmie Kamm (Dylan), Hannah Christenson (Paul), Clark, Michaela Delzer (Noah Ahlswede), Joshua, Jessica Sellen (Andrew), Riley (Mackenzie), Brice, Brianna Delzer, Vanessa Treml (Zach), Alyssa Deviley (Jake), Isabella, Elizabeth and Gabriel Delzer; his great grandchildren, Landon, Laikyn, Dakota, Griffin, Zander, Lillian, Brenley, Summit, Vesper, Hutch, Josie and Olivia; and his sisters, MaeJean Aprill (Byron) and Marilyn Mayer. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (101 W Main St, Gillett, WI 54124). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran Church's Carillon System (bell music).
