He was predeceased by: his father Wallace Buettner; his former wife Marlene Boerst; his son Jeffrey; and his siblings, Bill Buettner and Barbara Dillenburg.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Engebretsen (Kallies); his daughters, Kristine Lindemuth (Chris), Dorene Buettner and Shelly Wudtke (Brandon); his stepchildren, Julie Yonker (Terry), Jeff Engebretsen (Cindy) and Chris Engebretsen (Vicki); his grandchildren, Connor Lindemuth, Dayton Lindemuth, Gracyn Wudtke and Cole Wudtke; his sisters, Bonnie Bartz and Becky Buettner; and also, Josh Yonker (Marie), Callen, Jacob Yonker, Taylor Yonker, Brenda Engebretsen, Justin Engebretsen, Riley Engebretsen and Connor Engebretsen. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
