It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon E. Polzin (Cecil, Wisconsin), born in Shawano, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 25, 2019, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Polzin and Leona Polzin; his brother-in-law Dale Jeske; his father-in-law James Letter; and his sister-in-law Ruth Lasecki.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his children, Brent (Sara) of Shawano, Karin Bogenschneider (Ryan) of Elm Grove, Brian (Katie Reuter) of Milwaukee and Katie (Rick Cottrill) of New Berlin; his grandchildren, Jacob Polzin, Adalin and August Bogenschneider; his sisters, Ruth Rynish (David) of Oneida, Carol Yeager (Les) of Green Bay, Joyce Jeske of Bonduel and Faye Sorenson (Donald) of Waupaca; his mother-in-law Bernice Letter of Green Bay; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy DeGuelle (Roger) of Green Bay, Diane Van Lannen (Kevin) of Seymour, Carol Paap (Craig) of Gillett, Rita Skalecki (Donald) of Pulaski, Doris Jarosz (Steve) of Green Bay and Gary Lasecki of Lena; his friends, Jim and Jean Bleick; and his significant other Penelope. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family requests donations be made to the St. James Lutheran Church Broadcast, Immanuel Lutheran Church White Clay Lake, or Good Shepherd Lutheran School in West Allis.
