He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hughes and Beatrice Hughes (Hall); his wife Barb; his daughter Debbie LaRock; and his son-in-law Duke Moesch, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Julie Moesch (Scott Hermsen), Bret Hughes (Terri) and Tim Hughes (Monica Trester); and his grandchildren, Derek LaRock, Ryan LaRock (Ashley), Greg Hughes (Ashley), Alisha Rusch (John), Cindy Chmelka (Nick), Josh Hughes (Lisa), Jeni Plantz (Andy), Chad Moesch (Jess) and Chelsea Giesen (Kyle). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren.
