He is survived by: his wife Betty L. Mueller; his children, Vickie Lambert (John) of Green Bay, Valerie Skaleski (Mitch) of Green Bay, Dean De Kelver (Lynn) of Manawa, Brenda Hipke (Bill) of Oconto and Traci Nygaard (Scott Paris) of Pulcifer; his grandchildren, Luke Semrau (Nichole), Brooke Starks (Andy), Bailee Hunter, Cameron Hertwig, Holly Smurawa (Gary), Amanda Duenes (Pablo), Matthew De Kelver, Jolene Hipke (Shawn Seager) and Janel Jaskolski (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Madison, Bryson, Colton, Regan, Finnegan, Kaylie, Kenna, R'mani, Parker, Kylie, Diego, Jack, Jace, Paisley, Leah and Beau; his siblings, Joyce Kruse of Indiana, Mary Ann Schley (Lee) of DePere and Gale De Kelver (Tina) of Oregon; his former wife Ruth Thompson; and his sister-in-law Janet DeKelver. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gene's family requests masks be worn and they are understanding of the choice not to attend services due to the current risks associated with the COVID pandemic.
