He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Olson and Laverne Habeck; his brothers, Alex and Terry Olson; his daughter Bobbie Jo Karczewski; and his grandson Jordan Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Tony Olson, Connie Kufahl (Chad) and Tina Brauer; his stepchildren, Mary Ann O'Neill (Tim), James VanVeghel (Monica), Kathy Thomson (Dan) and Brenda Schecher (Dave); his grandchildren, Derek of Dexter, A. J., Melissa, Brian, Loren, Emily, Meghan, Mallory, Alex (Marissa), Carter, Cole and Sam; and his sisters, Shirley Buswell and Alice Olson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
