He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his daughters, Pam Procter (Michael) and Rita Tracy (Dewey); his stepsons, Jim Elliott (Lin) and Rich'Bondo' DeVault (Cindy); his grandchildren, Becky Althiser (Howie), Jerry Horkan (Amber), Allie Mienerz (Andy) and Emily Willadsen (Reed); and his siblings, Bev Duerst (Dan), Gary Hooks (Marge) and Larry Hooks (Rene). He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 2 step-great-grandchildren.
