He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Klang and Mame Klang (Mitchell); his son John; his son-in-law Bob Meyer; and his siblings, Art, Alma, Agnes and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette A. Gasser; his children, Vicki Thompson (Clark) and Jim Klang (Sharon); his daughter-in-law Sue Wilbrandt (Brian); his grandchildren, Kristi Marsicek (Todd), Kerri Delaney (John), Derek Klang (Jen), Sarah Prankeklang (Nate), David Klang (Bailey Miller) and Mark Klang; his great grandchildren, Brynley, Braxton Marsicek, Jackson, Tyler Delaney, Collin Klang, Nadezjda and Radhika Prankeklang; and his cousin Annie Helt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials of remembrance may be made to the Cazenovia Ambulance and Fire Department.
