He was predeceased by: his parents, Allister Jansen Godfrey and Mary Theresa Godfrey (Schulte); his nephew David Plummer; and his in-laws, June Moore, Kenneth Lizak, William Lizak and Walter Lizak.
He is survived by: his wife Millie; his children, Joseph Godfrey (Gwen) of Wausau, Bryan Godfrey (Daisy) of El Paso and Tina Godfrey of Marshfield; his granddaughter Vanessa Godfrey of Catawba; and his siblings, Peter Godfrey of Fenton, John Godfrey (Linda) of Belgrade, Montana, Mary Horning (Gary) of Linden, Roseanne Plummer-Burns (Steve) of Linden and Janey Brooks (Jeff) of Fenton, Michigan.. He is also survived by many grand children, great grand children, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Phillips Municipal Building (174 S Eyder Ave, Phillips, WI 54555). A reception will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
