He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Barenthin and Austa Barenthin (Erickson); and his siblings, Erwin "Fred" and Sandra. He is survived by: his wife Rita Jones of Cataract; his child Stacey Ziegelbauer (Tom) of Denver, CO; his stepdaughters, Victoria Kranz (Paul) of Sparta and Lenore Hanewold (Leif) of Janesville, WI; his stepgrandchildren, Zachary, Justine and Derrick; and his brother Kurt Barenthin (Marge). He is also survived by great grandchildren.
