He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edwin Konze and Caroline Konze; his stepson Ricky; his son Rick (Gena); his grandchildren, Ricki, Bronson and Jenna; his siblings, Joan Abbott and Edwin "Buzz" Konze; his wife Norma Jean; and his children, Larry Edwin (Julie) and Julie Marie. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
