He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Miessler and Frieda Miessler (Rodermund); his wife Darline Kruger; his sister Lois Rathje (Norbert); and his siblings-in-law, Helen Miessler and James Franke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Donna Magerkurth (Edward) of Montgomery, IL, Marian Moore (Randy) of Norwalk, WI and Marilyn (Robyn Pozanc) of Cashton, WI; his granddaughter Melissa Howard (Todd); his great grandchildren, Alexandra and Christopher; his grandson Bryan Magerkurth (Megan); his great grandchildren, Andrew, Allison and Erika McDowell (Bill); his siblings, Betty Franke and Howard Miessler of Wyoming; and also, Ian, Brielle, Maddison, Tatum, Kristen Magerkurth, Edward Magerkurth and Caycee Miessler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be set up in Richard's name.
